I find it hard to believe that the Dow is still being propped up at the 10000pt level. My gut feeling is that there is a lot of government purchasing of stocks and manipulation of this index. |

I am sick and tired of the ACLU defending every cause that I am against. It is uncanny. Do they have an electronic eavesdropping device in my house , just so they can hear what side of an issue I am for, so they can take the opposite agenda. This organization is the epitome of a travesty of justice. Legal action needs to be taken against them. They need to be defanged, just like the KKK was. In fact with their warped logic the ACLU would probably defend the KKK now. Do you want God back in public schools? Then defang the ACLU. Do you want Christmas instead of winter holidays. Then defang the ALCU. Do you want interrogations of our enemies to be conducted by our military. Then defang the ACLU. Start lawsuits against them. They will eventually run out of money and be defanged. |

With the blogosphere and the 24/7 media circus entrepenurial writers tend to be more interested in getting the quantity out in the published world and see what pans out. I may not be a quick study but sooner or latter I start to get it. It has for the last 18 months, been one piece of legislation after another that is passed against the popular wishes of the majority of Americans. As for issues not voted on but administrated on, same thing goes. the following are examples:
1. healthcare reform-- majority doesnt want it
2. Sb1070 Arizona Alien law -- has justice department sue
3. Bailouts of big companys --
4. Extended unemployment benefits to almost 2 years
5. Bank reform
6. housing reform
7. reform reform (just kidding)
Maybe its time to use reverse physchology on the Obama Administration and have a nationwide poll and have it come up with the following results:
We want more taxes, more social programs, more aliens, to large to fail companies, healthcare for the world, and to shut down NASA. Also we want Islam to be ordained as the official religion and English forbidden to be spoken in public. Come on, bring your change. |

I am in my 50's and nothing that goes on in this country has consistently disturbed me as much as the swarms of illegals infiltrating into our country. My USA is not doomed yet, but the writing is on the wall. Unless we go thru a period of isolationism, we are done as a meaningful society. Was watching Greta on FNC and they had a stat that just was incredible. for the year 2008 there were approx 4.3 million babies born in the US. Of that number 340,000 were of illegals. This is just so wrong. We must protect our rights as Americans or we will definetely not have them. This whole situation is comparable to an invasion of an invasive specials in the animal kingdom. |

Hard to fight the good fight, when there is so much fraud in our electoral process. In some states an ID is not even required to vote. Give me a break. Most of those states happen to have a large percentage of the population being illegal also. We have to get a handle on this voter fraud. The voting registration rolls must be properly reviewed.

The GOP leaders need to pay particular attention to this group of people and if they integrate their ideas into the GOP platforms they more than likely will come out ahead. It seems like the Tea Party Movement (TPM) is somewhat disoriented. There are 1000's of Tea Party's and no real overall leadership. Sarah Palin could be called the defacto leader, in that she typically is vocal on issues that are dear to most members of the Tea Party. It appears that the TPM is on a collision course with both major political partys and that by the values that most of the members hold dear they are more aligned with the Republicans. With this said, I feel that after the mid-term elections, there will be a period of reckoning within the Republican party and the Tea Party may just morph into something more resembling a caucus than a new political party. |

August 12, 2018.. Today at approx. 3 pm EST a small fishing vessel reported a huge oil spill some 35 miles off of the Louisiana coast. The Coast Guard has dispatched a frigate and sent helicopters to observe the area. Preliminary reports are that the center of the oil spill appears to be almost exactly where BP had an large oil spill in 2010. Haliburton (the New owner of BP North America) was asked to speculate on this report and declined to comment. |

I won't let my family eat anything caught in the Gulf waters either. I don't think the USDA and the EPA can guarantee our safety with the inspections they do. They would have to dispatch 100's of inspectors and conduct 1000's of lab tests to allay my fears. I haven't heard of them doing much to ensure consumer safety. |

The Gulf Oil Spill
Now the government is releasing a report that most of the oil that was released into the Gulf of Mexico is gone. Evaporated into thin air! I smell something fishy. It might just be the stench of all the oil infested fish, or it may be BP trying to wriggle out of its obligations, with the help of the government. |

The Gulf Oil Spill
Bp is reporting today that the "static Kill" is working. Apparently, they pumped mud for 8 hours and that was enough to stop the flow/pressure of the oil. This is great news and a very big deal to the long term health of the Gulf. |

Is Sarah Palin running for office or not?
I certainly hope that she runs for President in 2012. She is what this country needs right now. It would be a breath of fresh air. She is pragmatic and conservative. She has experience in leadership positions and has gained considerable public speaking skills since the 2008 campaign. |

Its hard to say with any difinitive proof as to what we are experiencing right now. The Fed Funds rate has been at below 1% for a good while now and it appears to have done nothing to revitalize the economy. The stimulus didn't get us going either. Maybe its time to for the Government to lend directly to businesses and not have the banks as middlemen. |

Time to change rights of anchor babies.
It may just be time to review whether the 14th amendment to our constitution really intended that all babies born in this country are automatically citizens or not. As we are one of the only countries in the world to adopt this right in the way we do. We make exceptions for some (mainly dipllomats) that they don't have to become US citizens by birth. Do we need to change the wording? To many it would be a welcomed change if citizenship was a birthright only if one of the parents is a citizen. It is just another incentive for illegals to want to break our laws. We need to take the incentives away and our illegal alien problem would become near non-existent. |

Well at least one judge in this country still would like to see laws passed by this administration pass constitutional muster. The judge in Virginia would not dismiss the case as the Justice Department had hoped. This opens the way for the case to have it's day in court. Let's see some justice and not you can see the bill after its law nonsense. |

Have mixed feelings about Sarah Palin. I think her brand is starting to wear a little thin with some conservatives. She seems to be going out of her way to endorse females for office. She is charismatic, and could still be very helpful to the Republican party, if she were to tone done her rhetoric a degree or two. |

I think we are experiencing both and is the reason we cannot seem to get traction with a recovery. As long as some sectors are facing severe or long term deflation we will not be able to recover. The housing market is an example. The commercial real estate market is ready to seize up also. Look out below... |

It is now August and BP will attempt to "Static Kill" the damaged oil well. Hope this works. Then they can divert the resources to help with the extensive clean-up needed. |

The global warning crowd is looney. We are having a relative warm summer. To say that it is caused by man is somewhat premature and does not take into account cyclical weather patterns that have been established for centuries. |
